The adaptability of the medium weight 6.2 tonne NPR has made this vehicle a firm favourite with truck operators. Whilst driver licence and other regulations apply for operations that require towing flexibility the NPR 6.2 tonne is capable of towing something weighting up to 3.0 tonnes. With two standard wheelbases available, plus the option of a crew cab, the versatility of the NPR fulfils many roles. The 6.2 tonne NPR shares the same heritage as its 7.5 tonne stablemate, the NQR. This new Euro 3 NPR now has exactly the same driveline as the NQR 4.8 litre (143bhp) direct injection turbo diesel engine and is matched with the same 6-speed fully synchromesh gearbox and rear axle.

The low cab forward design of the NPR maximises load carrying with unsurpassed manoeuvrability, whilst the lowered dash and slim roof pillars with panoramic windscreen and electrically operated deep cut side windows provide all round visibility for increased safety.

This spacious cab on a lighter, but proven robust chassis, is ideal for those operations requiring more flexibility than that offered by a 3.5 tonner.
